Chinese students use 3D printing to build racing car

  • Uploaded 5 years ago in the category Automotive Subscribe to ITN News: Students from Changsha in China have used 3D printing to help them build a racing car. They took advantage of the technology to create the air intake system and steering wheel and say it is a significant progression from last year's model. In theory, 90 per cent of car parts can be printed out using 3D technology, given a large enough printer and a sufficient supply of solid materials. Report by Jeremy Barnes.
